TAKE IT FROM THE TOP is a series of interactive workshops taught by working Broadway professionals who have a passion for providing training and perspective for those interested in pursuing a professional career in musical theatre as well as those just looking to have fun with performing arts.
Participants learn the craft of musical theatre with basic to advanced skills, industry history and practical content in an exciting, fast-moving, interactive setting.
Everyone is a student of the arts and can find their own unique voice through music, dance, and theatre. TAKE IT FROM THE TOP offers participants a chance to experience Broadway with the pros. Learn, work and sharpen your skills in a creative and fun environment. If you ever wanted to be on a Broadway stage, now is your chance to perform and pick the brains of the people who are doing it!

During this multi-day workshop, participants will explore dancing, singing and acting with an eye towards a final recital. Participants should prepare an age-appropriate song and monologue for the portion of the workshop focused on auditioning.
TUESDAY - THURSDAY
10 am - 1 pm FRIDAY
Noon to 5:30 pm Rehearsal
7 pm Recital TUITION: $250
Teen Four-Day Musical Theatre Workshop (Ages 14-18)
During this multi-day workshop, participants will explore dancing, singing and acting with an eye towards a final recital. Participants should prepare an age-appropriate song and monologue for the portion of the workshop focused on auditioning.

Parental permission is required for participants under 18 years old. Release forms will be mailed with registration packet.

Parking fees are not included in the registration fee. Additional information on parking will be mailed with registration packet.
TAKE IT FROM THE TOP was created by Paul Canaan and Tony Nominee Laura Bell Bundy. Workshops are taught by Paul Canaan and a talented team of Broadway professionals from New York City, with connections to such shows as Legally Blonde: The Musical, The Addams Family, WICKED, Next To Normal, In The Heights, South Pacific, The Color Purple, Rent, and many more high-profile productions.
